Avenca da Praia - Parede, Cascais

Everything genuinely walkable

Three minutes to the shops, five to the beach — this is a coastal base built around not needing a car.

Private patio

A private patio for a morning coffee or evening drink. The house's own small outdoor space, just off the living area.

Dedicated workspace

A dedicated workspace and a strong dining table Fast, reliable wifi and a proper desk make this as good a fit for remote work as for a beach holiday.

Light workout

A few pieces of equipment for a light workout. Nothing like a full gym, but enough to keep a simple routine going without leaving the house.

A fully renovated Scandi-inspired tiny house where city, beach, and surf culture meet — 3 minutes to the shops, 5 to the beach, 5 to the train (10 to Cascais, 20 to Lisbon). Clean lines, natural light, and a dedicated workspace make Avenca ideal for a workation or a slow coastal stay. Self check-in means arriving on your own clock. Not suited to small children or limited mobility — the mezzanine has open rails and steep stairs. A well-loved fit for couples, surfers, and digital nomads.

01

A small footprint, done properly. Clean Scandinavian lines and real thought in a genuinely compact space, not a converted box.

02

Superhosts since 2019. Eight years of hosting the same way: honest listings, fast answers, nothing oversold.

03

Independence, not absence. Self check-in is a design choice, not a shortcut — we're reachable by app, chat, or phone, usually within the hour.

Home truths

The upstairs mezzanine is reached via steep, open stairs with a partial rail — not advisable for small children or guests with mobility or balance challenges.

House towels stay in the house — bring or buy separate towels for the beach.

This is a genuinely small footprint (55 m²) — ideal for a couple or small group who don't need a lot of separate space.

Air conditioning should be switched off when you're out or when windows are open.
